Thank you for using the Print tool of Green Choice Marketing. Below are some common specs and general scheduling information that might be helpful.

Turnaround Flyers: are printed and shipped same day, assuming they are uploaded on the system by 11am. They always ship UPS ground from Portland, OR, so they get to every location in Washington, Oregon and Idaho (except the Islands and over a heavily snowed-in mountain pass) the next day. For offices within driving distance of the printing plant (Tigard, Oregon), flyers can be picked up after 4pm if uploaded before 10am. When ordering the flyers, the system will ask you to choose one of three shipping methods:
Ship to me: This uses the default account holder address for the user uploading the flyers.
Ship to an alternate address: This allows the user to ship to a different address than is in the default account holder information, such as an end-client’s address.
Hold for pickup: These are held at our printing plant, which is open from 8am to 5pm. Flyers are boxed and the user last name is put on the outside of the box, just inside the front door of our office. We are located at Bear Printing - 11507 SW Pacific Highway, Suite D, Tigard, Oregon 97223.

Postcards are printed and mailed the day after uploaded. This applies to cards the system will mail out, as well as cards that are not addressed and just mailed back to the user. For Bulk Mail, assume people will get them in their mailbox one week after the job is started. For First Class, assume people will get them three to four days after the job is started.

If you wish to upload and mail your own piece, here are some things to keep in mind during the design phase:

Bleed: Make sure you understand how bleed works, and what it is, before you design your pieces. Bleed is defined as printing in such a way that the color appears to go off the edge of the finished piece. In order to do this, make sure your original document is oversized, and color is pulled beyond the finished edge of the piece, so that when the final cut is made, color goes beyond the final edge. This applies to flyers and postcards.

Mailing: See the diagrams below to make sure your postcard design is compatible with the addressing system.

--Since the pieces are produced and mailed from Oregon, Green Choice Marketing and DC Communications Group, Inc., are not liable to collect any kind of sales tax, use tax or any kind of state or federal taxes. The user agrees that they must pay any kind of additional taxes deemed necessary for their specific business situation, including any potential use tax. DC Communications Group, Inc., is not a tax consultant nor a CPA, so the user must consult their own tax professional if they have specific tax questions.
